Gift from a Friend

“There comes a time when the world gets quiet and the only thing left is your own heart. So you'd better learn the sound of it. Otherwise you'll never understand what it's saying.”
― Sarah DessenJust Listen

I received this gift from a special friend who believed in my abilities and encouraged me to write on.

Hi no longer communicates, but I will treasure our time and sharing together.

Hope you are in good health and happy with your family. I do miss you.

Thank you so much.

Reawakening

After so many months, I am finally able to update this blog again. I almost forgot how to log in.

My dearest Malcolm Barber presented me with this book, as a guide and reference especially for budding writers like myself. The articles in this book are so helpful and inspiring.

A Note From Richard Madeley & Judy Finnigan

How do aspiring authors, poets, illustrators and journalists become published? The latest edition of the Writers' & Artists' Yearbook should come in useful.
We've become very aware of just how many budding authors there are since we've been involved with the book industry. Writing is an amazing thing to do and if you're successful, there's potential to reach thousands, maybe millions of people and touch their lives by evoking emotions, memories, sparking imaginations and perhaps even inspiring present and future actions.
The Writers' & Artists' Yearbook can help writers get their work out into the marketplace. It contains advice and contacts, explains the role of the literary agent, and how writers should present their work to publishers.
Lots and lots of luck with your writing endeavours.
